Sonic Generations is absolutely lovely, and, as flamed as it is, Sonic 06 is fun as well as long as you can be patient through the minor glitches and loading times (Neither ever bothered me). It sounds like both are rather diffrent though and sound like they'd both be fun to try out if you ever had the time to c:Ī note on getting a 360 I say go for it <:

So basically if your just looking to play through really fast the Wii version should be alright, but if your looking to do more exploration on the levels and want hub worlds for a longer experience, I would go ahead and get the Xbox. And I know you said you didn't care about graphics but the 360 version is really beautiful as well and the Hub worlds are a blast to look around c:Īnother thing is that I've heard that, for the Werehog, the controls are more difficult, and even though the levels are 'shorter', they're divided up into four acts (on the 360 there's just one for each continent.) Also the 360 version has extra Acts in the hub worlds (Ex. From what I've read there's more content exploration wise, AND, you actually get 3D hub worlds (The Wii version has a 2D menu.).

It also lacked the free roam hubs that the 360/PS3 version had instead, you're treated with a useless variant of point and click types. The Wii version lacked content, particularly two extra stages that were exclusive to the 360/PS3 version and the areas were way too simple. The levels on both versions are really different apparently too. On a comparison basis, the Wii version was completely terrible. The 360 version has more flexibility and tweaks there's more little secret areas around levels and exploration to be done. I have the 360 version, but neither Wii or PS2 version but, FROM WHAT I'VE HEARD.
